                        <p><h2>ABSTRACT</h2>
<p>Although workplace incivility (WI) has been extensively studied, limited attention has been paid to its validation in culturally diverse contexts such as China and Pakistan. Addressing this gap, the present study examines the psychometric properties of the instigated WI scale within these two distinct cultural settings. Furthermore, it investigates the cross-cultural measurement equivalence of the scale using a daily diary methodology. Participants were full-time employees from service-sector organisations in China (<i>n</i> = 110) and Pakistan (<i>n</i> = 118), recruited through snowball sampling. Over 10 days, 758 daily observations were collected from Chinese employees and 836 from Pakistani employees. The findings provide evidence supporting the validity and reliability of the scale in both samples, affirming the conceptual transferability of WI across these cultural contexts. The study also highlights the importance of accounting for cultural nuances in the manifestation and assessment of incivility. Establishing the scale’s validity and equivalence contributes critical methodological groundwork for future cross-cultural research on workplace mistreatment.</p>

                        <p><h2>Background</h2>
<p>Parent–child interaction therapy (PCIT) improves parenting and child behavior, yet little is known about how dosage of its two phases, warm relationship building focused child-directed interaction (CDI) sessions and safe, effective discipline skills-focused parent-directed interaction (PDI) sessions, contributes to outcomes, particularly in child welfare-involved families. Understanding these dose–response patterns can clarify the pathways through which PCIT produces change.</p>
<h2>Methods</h2>
<p>In a sample of 204 child welfare families with young children, we examined the dose–response relationship between each PCIT phase and key intervention outcomes of positive and negative parenting skills and disruptive child behavior problems. We also used sequential mediation models to test time-ordered intervention dosage effects (i.e., number of CDI sessions completed and subsequent number of PDI sessions completed) on the parent and child outcomes.</p>
<h2>Results</h2>
<p>Sequential mediation models showed that the PCIT intervention exerted significant indirect effects on increased positive parenting skills and decreased negative parenting behaviors and child behavior problems through higher dosage of relationship-enhancing CDI sessions followed by higher dosage of safe discipline-focused PDI sessions. Further, CDI dosage interacted with PDI dosage to predict greater gains in positive parenting skills outcomes.</p>
<h2>Conclusions</h2>
<p>These results contribute new insights into the pathways through which PCIT shapes outcomes in a sample of child welfare-involved families. Findings also highlight the significant unique contribution that limit-setting-oriented PDI, a relatively understudied phase of PCIT, plays in enhancing positive parenting skills and mitigating child behavior problems.</p>

                        <p><h2>ABSTRACT</h2>
<h2>Background</h2>
<p>Cancer pharmacotherapy imposes substantial physical and psychosocial burdens that affect patients’ quality of life (QoL). While oncologic outcomes are well studied, the psychological dimensions—particularly future perspective, emotional resilience, and body image—remain underintegrated into routine care. The growing recognition of psycho-oncology highlights the need for synergistic collaboration between oncology and clinical psychology.</p>
<h2>Aim</h2>
<p>To evaluate changes in QoL before and after pharmacotherapy among women with breast cancer and identify domains most vulnerable to psychological distress, thereby informing the need for integrated psycho-oncologic care.</p>
<h2>Methods</h2>
<p>This prospective study included 106 women with breast cancer undergoing pharmacotherapy. Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics were collected, including cancer stage, treatment modalities, and baseline cardiometabolic parameters. QoL was assessed pre- and post-treatment using EORTC QLQ-C30 and BR23 instruments. Paired comparisons were performed using Wilcoxon signed-rank tests, and correlations with age were analyzed using Spearman or Pearson methods as appropriate.</p>
<h2>Results</h2>
<p>Global health status declined significantly after pharmacotherapy (83.3 to 66.7; <i>p</i> = 0.002). Functional domains—including physical, role, and social functioning—also worsened, while emotional functioning improved modestly. Symptom burden increased across fatigue, nausea, pain, appetite loss, and systemic side effects (all <i>p</i> < 0.001). Breast-cancer–specific domains such as body image and future perspective showed minimal change but remained highly variable, indicating psychosocial vulnerability. Distress related to hair loss demonstrated a modest inverse correlation with age (<i>r</i> = −0.296; <i>p</i> = 0.003).</p>
<h2>Conclusion</h2>
<p>Pharmacotherapy substantially reduces multiple QoL domains, highlighting symptom–function trade-offs and persistent psychological concerns. The patterns in emotional functioning and future perspective indicate unmet psychosocial needs. These findings underscore the imperative for integrated psycho-oncology models to enhance holistic survivorship care.</p>

<p>This study explores the differences between the phenomenology of memories from early adulthood and those from the last year and whether memories from these two periods predict the general sense of remembering as a function of age. In this study, 291 healthy participants aged from 31 to 80 years assessed the phenomenology of their autobiographical memories through seven factors (vividness, coherence, reliving, rehearsal, scene, visual imagery, and life story relevance) in an online questionnaire, first in a general way and then for the two periods of interest (i.e., from 18 to 30 years and the last year). Global linear models revealed that the phenomenology of recent memories is higher than the phenomenology of memories from 18 to 30 years of age. However, individuals preferentially refer to these remote memories rather than recent ones to determine the overall phenomenology of their autobiographical memories.</p>

                        <p><h2>ABSTRACT</h2>
<p>Although practice theory has significantly contributed to our understanding of the mechanisms underlying social change, it does not take a position or advocate for particular meso-macro changes, such as responsible management, because it is a theory wedded to ontological understanding. How people choose to ‘get along’ in life and manage their goods is all part of the practices, which fall under the theorist’s microscope. On other hand, the applied field of leadership-as-practice is tied to change as its definitive property; in fact, leadership is defined by turning points occurring in the spaces between people, which, in turn, can lead to changes in the trajectory of the flow of practice. After narrowing the definition of social change in this paper as social action and—institutionally—as responsible management, the paper turns to a comparison between how practice theory contributes to our understanding of the evolution of social action and how leadership-as-practice, relying on the former’s erstwhile elucidation, attempts to initiate and facilitate such action. The latter discussion of leadership-as-practice includes an accounting of the impetus for change initiation, its diffusion and prefigured processes, and the post-institutional applications afforded through its link with practice theory. The essay concludes by pointing out the principal contribution of the paper that social change need not rely on exclusive individual direction but on the collective capacity of the agents affiliated with the practice deriving the means to produce more just and sustainable lives.</p>

                        <p><p>Persistence of childhood ADHD symptoms into adolescence and adulthood is common. However, persistence is not simply a continuation of early high severity ADHD. Rather, it is the product of influences from individual-level genetic liability, one’s environmental context, and their interplay. The field has often focused on cross-sectional ADHD severity and genetic load. However, environments – such as one’s socioeconomic context – exert their own influence over development independently of genetics, as well as modulate genetic influences. Importantly, these genetic and environmental effects vary significantly between inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity symptom domains, emphasizing the need to consider these domains separately when studying persistence risk. This article outlines a unifying persistence framework reflecting the changing contributions of genes, environmental context, and their interaction over time, offering a path to a more complete understanding of risk for symptom persistence.</p>

                        <p><h2>ABSTRACT</h2>
<p>In this study, we draw on social representations theory to examine how adolescents (individuals aged 13–19 years) represent their future in the increasingly multicultural Finnish context. The research material consists of drawings and written narratives from 42 adolescents with Finnish, Middle Eastern and Ukrainian backgrounds. The findings show that social representations of the future were structured around three key dimensions: self, relationships with others and the environment. We identified two competing social representations: one suggesting that the future aligns with present actions (Charted Future) and the other indicating that the future is more unpredictable (Uncharted Future). Cultural differences emerged in how the future was represented: Middle Eastern and Ukrainian participants emphasised integration, education and careers, while these themes were less evident or largely absent among Finnish participants, who instead highlighted personal success. We offer empirical insights into youth’s future thinking, and we advance the understanding of the future in terms of relational social representations. Finally, we demonstrate the value of arts-based methods in exploring complex, future-oriented social representations.</p>
