In April, hackers (https://centromedsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/CentroMed-HIPAA-Substitute-Website-Notice-5.17.24-ENGLISH.pdf) breached the IT network of CentroMed, a healthcare provider based in San Antonio, Texas, compromising the protected health information of (https://ocrportal.hhs.gov/ocr/breach/breach_report.jsf) 400,000 patients.
