A report from cybersecurity vendor Critical Insight (https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20230822661722/en/Critical-Insight-Releases-H1-2023-Report-Record-40-Million-Individuals-Exposed-in-Healthcare-Cyber-Breaches-Despite-Overall-Decline) found that 40 million patients' medical information has been involved in data breaches so far this year; at this rate, 2023 will break the record for most individuals affected in breaches.
